The opening where sound comes out of the Sony WF-1000XM5 is different from other earbuds. It's narrower. We often heard that the universal foam ear tips didn't fit Sony earbuds perfectly. How do you attach the foam ear tips?
The foam ear tips are easy to fit onto your earbuds. Remove the standard ear tips, which are usually made of silicone.
1. Take the Eardopes foam ear tips out of the bag. Wait a moment for them to expand. Sometimes they're still a little compressed from being in the bag.
2. Gently press the ear tip onto the earbud's opening. Don't force it. Make sure you position the foam ear tip at a slight angle to the earbud. As the earbud slides into the ear tip, straighten the foam ear tip. It's a bit like fitting a tire onto a rim: push it on at an angle, then straighten it.
Done! Now you can enjoy your music with extra comfort.
