Can I return a gift?

Returning a gift

Received a gift and want to return it or make a warranty claim? Can you do that? And how does it work?

In short:

Returns and warranty claims always go through the buyer

The buyer must always request the return. We only have the buyer's details. The order for the product you received as a gift is linked to that person.

A return label for a warranty claim, technical check or return can only be sent to the buyer's email address.

How to return a gift you received

Contact us and carefully follow our tips to get the product working again.

Still not working? Ask the buyer (the person who gave you the gift) to contact us so we can arrange a return.

The return email goes to the buyer. They can forward it to you, for example by email or WhatsApp. Want them to do that? Ask the person who bought your gift.

You can then print the shipping label or take the scannable barcode on your phone to a PostNL location. That way, you can send the product back to us yourself.

Is it a technical check of a hygiene product within the warranty period? Then we'll send the replacement, repaired product or tested and working product to the buyer's address.

Why can't we send it to your address? Because your address isn't linked to the gift buyer's account. We can't change that, even if you include a note with the return. In fact, that can only delay your return by causing confusion in our warehouse.

Return and warranty conditions apply

A gift comes with exactly the same rights as a purchase for your own use. So you're still covered by the warranty. You're entitled to a working product as long as you've used it normally.

Have questions about returning a gift you received, perhaps because you think it's broken? Get in touch with us. We almost always reply the same day.
