Sound quality score: 8

The Eardopes B6 pro sound full and powerful. The bass comes through clearly and strongly. That's a matter of taste. These earbuds are perfect for music with plenty of punch. Think upbeat music at the gym, or a lively track while you work on your laptop. The rich, deep bass of the Eardopes B6 pro will certainly keep you alert.

The highs come through well, but the mids and bass are a little more prominent. Many Eardopes B6 pro users love the professional sound precisely because of that bass.

You may have already seen it: our Eardopes B6 Pro have been named the wireless earbuds with the best microphone in several comparison articles. That's useful when you're working from home. Microphone: are the Eardopes B6 pro good for calls?

Microphone score: 9

The Eardopes B6 pro microphone is the best we've tested so far. In fact, when developing these earbuds, Eardopes kept going until the microphone was exactly how we wanted it.

Many earbuds make it hard for others to hear you on calls. That's a frustration we absolutely wanted to avoid with the Eardopes B6 pro. Here's the result:

As you can hear, both the low and high tones come through clearly. That's unusual for earbuds. We make a recording with every pair of earbuds we test. Curious about the microphones on other earbuds? Take a look at our wireless earbud microphone comparison.

Not all earbuds have a good microphone. In fact, many have a weaker one. Take the SoundPEATS TrueFree 2, for example. Their microphone sound is fairly typical for earbuds. This gives you a reference for how good the Eardopes B6 pro sound.

Fit: how do the Eardopes B6 pro feel?

The Eardopes B6 pro sit comfortably in your ears. Their rounded shape prevents the irritation or poking you sometimes get with other earbuds.

Fit score: 7

The Eardopes B6 pro are on the larger side. That may make them less suitable for small ears. But average-sized ears can handle them perfectly well. They're much less suitable for children.

Earbud controls

Some earbuds have buttons, and others have touch controls. With touch controls, you briefly place your finger on the earbud and it responds. As for a button... well, that needs no explanation.

The Eardopes B6 pro use touch controls rather than buttons. You can pause/play, answer/end calls, and turn the volume up or down.

Need to pause your music because the cashier at the supermarket asks you something? Tap your earbud twice and the music pauses. It doesn't matter whether you use the left or right earbud. Hear a song on Spotify you're not in the mood for? Tap your B6 Pro three times in a row to skip to the next track. When someone calls, you'll hear your chosen ringtone through the earbuds. Your music stops. Tap 2 times to answer. Finished your call? Tap 2 times again to hang up. Your music then resumes automatically. The Eardopes adapt to whatever you're doing.

A single touch does nothing. That stops the earbuds from responding every time you adjust them in your ears. Smart!

Eardopes B6 Pro charging case

Eardopes B6 Pro charging case with wireless charging

The charging case is often overlooked when buying earbuds. Yet it makes a real difference to how convenient and enjoyable they are to use. You don't want to plug the case back in after charging your earbuds just 2 times. That's why a charging case should have at least a 400mAh battery. The more, the better.

The Eardopes B6 pro charging case has a 1000mAh battery. That's a lot! It means you can fully drain the earbuds 10 times, with 8 hours of music or calls each time, and recharge them completely on a single charge of the case.

Charging case score: 9.5

The Eardopes B6 pro have more battery capacity than earbuds that cost at least twice as much.

When the charging case runs out, you don't need to plug in a cable! The Eardopes B6 pro come with a wireless charger: a small pad you place the charging case on. The earbuds then charge. In short, you can use these earbuds without plugging in a single cable. That's unusual!

If you're traveling, or simply find it more convenient, you can also plug the included usb-c cable into the charging case. Use whichever option suits you at the time.

Battery: how long can you use the earbuds?

The charging case holds 1000mAh, which is an unusually large capacity. But the earbuds themselves also have large batteries.

What's included with the B6 Pro?

When you buy wireless earbuds, you often get just the earbuds and charging case. That's not all you get with the Eardopes B6 Pro, but let's start there. These are the earbuds and the charging case. The charging case has a 1000mAh battery. It's a power bank and protective case for your earbuds in one. After charging in the case, the earbuds give you 6-8 hours of music. The case has 2 parts that connect magnetically. We can assure you that once you hold the case for the first time, you'll start playing with it. Together, apart, together, apart.
